How The LIGHT GETS IN // GLOBAL Collaborative Film PRoject

How The Light Gets In is a visual poem conceived by You Are Here and shot remotely in 7 different cities around the world. Bringing together 7 directors, practising isolation in their respective cities - Sydney / Algiers / Frankfurt / São Paulo / London & LA - we created a unique short film; an ode to stillness, contemplating the conflict between beauty and isolation; a collectively-curated, global, cinematic portrait of Life in Lockdown.
